created in God’s image, in ways especially appropriate for women,

- Addresses God in language that is inclusive of female images,
- Welcomes, includes, and hears all present in the Spirit of God their Creator and Mother,
- Builds and maintains relationships among women of faith,
- Provides opportunities for personal renewal and encourages growth in faith and life,
- Encourages study of the Bible and Judeo-Christian traditions using new tools of interpretation,
- Empowers women, in their roles as nurturers of life, to seek the transformation of
church and secular life and to act for justice for women,
- Engages the arts in worship and study,
- Examines the faith traditions and life ways of women in other cultures and
seeks their well-being and that of their children,
- Offers options and resources to support the goals of the conference.
